Ashland Symphonic Youth Chorus
The Ashland Symphonic Youth Chorus was established in 1990 to promote youth artistry in the area. Each Saturday, September through April, the choristers meet for rehearsals between 1-2 hours. The Chorus is divided into: Prepatory I, Prepatory II, Concert Chorus, and Chamber Singers. All choruses are treble choirs. Any boy in any chorus can be a member of the Troubadors, which is an SATB chorus. Any girl from Chambers may audition for Angelorum, which is a treble choir that works on more difficult music. It is a privelege to be in the choir. This past year, the Chamber Singers went to Vancouver, for the World of Children's Choirs 2001 (http://www.wocc.org), and the Troubadors sang the National Anthem at a Cleveland Indians game at Jacobs Field.

Mrs. Brown leaves ASYC
